Lazy Day Lasagna

2 lb hamburger
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 package (12 oz.) wide egg noodles
1 small container cottage cheese
1 family style can cream of mushroom soup
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
Velveeta cheese, sliced

Brown hamburger and onion. Cook noodles according to package until tender.

In large bowl, mix hamburger mixture and noodles with the cottage cheese, cream of mushroom soup, and tomato sauce.

Pour mixture into ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Top with slices of Velveeta Cheese.

Bake uncovered in 350 degrees F oven for 30 minutes or until warmed through and cheese is melted.
