Original recipe yields 1 serving
1/4 cup milk
2 slices white bread
1 onion
6 garlic cloves, chopped very fine
2 lb minced chicken, cooked
1/3 cup paprika (suggestion: add slowly – mixture must turn a little pink)
5 Tbsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Italian bread crumbs for coating

Pour milk in a small bowl and add bread. Make sure bread absorbs thoroughly. Squeeze out all excess milk, put bread aside.

Spray the bottom of a small frying pan with Pam. Place onions and garlic in pan and sauté for approximately 2 to 3 minutes or until they start to brown.

Place chicken in bowl and mix in bread, piece by piece. Mix in onions and garlic, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Make small patties approximately 3/4” thick. Coat with bread crumbs.

There are two ways to proceed:

1. Place a little oil at the bottom of a pan, when oil is hot, place patties in oil and fry till browned turn and fry other side. Coating will become crispy.

2. Place patties in a greased oven safe pan and bake till top browns. Turn and brown other side.
