Prepare corned beef recipe according to package instructions. When using a slow-cooker always use the low heat setting. This results in a much more tender corned beef. After slow cooking a corned beef, bake it with the glaze.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Glaze: Mix brown sugar, soy sauce, dry mustard and ground ginger. Spread over the cooked brisket. Bake until the topping has set and turned golden brown, about 15 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes.
Thinly slice the meat across the grain. Pass the same condiment as for corned beef. You can also make extra glaze heated in microwave to serve as a condiment.
