Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 lb ground beef or turkey
1 onion, chopped
1/3 cup chopped green pepper
1-2 tsp minced garlic (depending on your taste)
1 can (14-1/2 oz.) stewed tomatoes
2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 can pinto beans, drained
1-2 Tbsp chili powder, depending on how spicy you like it
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp salt
Black pepper to taste
3 cups Kraft Instant Minute Rice, cooked
Topping options:
Kraft Shredded Cheese
Sour cream
Also: can be eaten with tortilla chips

Brown beef/turkey, onion, green pepper and garlic together until meat is done. Drain and place in crock-pot.

Add remaining ingredients (except the cooked rice and the toppings) and stir well. Cook on LOW for 5-6 hours.

Serve over individual bowls of rice. Add desired toppings. Can also eat with tortilla chips.
