3 Tbsp butter
1 medium onion, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
1 pack (8 oz.) mushrooms, diced
2 large potatoes, diced
1 quart whole milk
1 pint heavy whipping cream
1 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp salt
2 small cans minced clams, do not drain
30 steamed shrimp, diced

In medium size saute pan, place butter, onions, celery, mushrooms, and potatoes. Saute over low heat for 15 minutes.

In medium size pot, pour whole milk, whipping cream, pepper, salt, clams, and diced shrimp. Add sauteed ingredients and cover.

Simmer on low for about 2 hours stirring occasionally. Serve hot with saltines, or your favorite soup crackers.
