3 large potatoes
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp salt
2 cups hot water
1 pound ground sausage
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/3 cup milk
1 1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Wash, peel, and dice potatoes. Place in medium size saucepan. Add onion powder, salt and water. Heat until potatoes are soft, but not enough to mash; about 10-15 minutes. Drain off the water.

Brown sausage in medium size frying pan. Cook all the way through and then drain off the fat.

In a large bowl, add the potatoes, meat, soup, milk and vegetables. Mix until everything is coated in the soup. Place in a greased 2-quart casserole dish.

Bake at 350°F for 35-40 minutes, or until vegetables and potatoes are soft. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 5-10 more minutes, or until cheese is melted.
