1 gallon water
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup ketchup
3 tsp salt, divided
2 lb ground beef
1 lb ground sausage
1 cup rice, uncooked
1/4 cup diced onion
1 tsp pepper
1 small head cabbage, chopped coarsely

In a large 6 quart crock-pot combine water, vinegar, ketchup and 1 tsp salt.

In a large bowl, mix ground beef, sausage, rice, onion, pepper and 2 tsp. salt together and roll in small balls (approx. 2 inches). Add to water mixture. Chop cabbage and add to water.

Cook for 7 hours on high setting.
