Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Season chicken with onion & garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat oil over medium-high heat in an oven safe pan. When pat is hot, add chicken and saute 2-4 minutes each side or until lightly browned. Remove chicken.
Saute onions in pan for 4 minutes or until tender. Add tomatoes and broth, cook for 6 minutes to blend flavors. Place reserved chicken in pan, stir to combine. Mix cheeses together and sprinkle over chicken.
Bake about 15 minutes. Serve with rice or pasta.
