Let's Make It
1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter the bottom of a 4 quart round baking dish. Prepare pasta according to directions. Cook "el dente" and put into cold water to stop cooking.
2
Place evaporated milk, salt, pepper, mustard, garlic salt, and egg in double boiler or regular sauce pan and beat together. Add all cheeses and melt on medium heat stirring until sauce is well mixed and all cheeses have melted.
3
Pour 1/2 cup sauce into the bottom of the casserole pan and add drained macaroni to the pan. Pour remaining sauce over macaroni and sprinkle on garlic salt. Cover with lid or aluminum foil in the middle of the oven.
4
Place in oven for 20-30 minutes until pasta is warm and sauce is bubbling. Add bread crumbs and a little parmesan cheese to the top if you like bread crubms and your mac-n-cheese. Broil for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
