1 refigerated pie crust
3/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
4 cups thinly sliced peeled & cored apples (about 4 medium)
1 egg white, lightly beaten
1 tsp sugar

Prepare crust as directed on package. Place on foil-lined backing sheet, press out any folds or creases. Mix 3/4 cup sugar, cornstarch & cinnamon in a medium bowl. Add sliced apples: toss to coat well.

Spoon apples into center of pie crust, spreading to within 2" from edges. Bring crust up over apples pleating or folding as needed, brush folded crust with egg white, sprinkle with 1 tsp. of sugar.

Bake in preheated oven 425°F 20 minutes or until apples are tender & crust is golden brown.
