Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 lb ground chuck
1 large onion, chopped
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can whole kernel corn
1 package cornbread mix, or make your own cornbread mix

Brown ground chuck with the chopped onion. Add the tomatoes and corn, bring to a boil. Mix cornbread mix as directed on package or make your own, set aside.

Pour hamburger mixture into large casserole dish. Pour cornbread mixture on top, and smooth to the edges.

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees F. Serve Hot.
