Original recipe yields 1 serving
1/4 lb butter, softened
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp marjoram
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp oregano
1/8 tsp fresh ground pepper
1/8 tsp dill weed
1/8 tsp basil
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp fresh or freeze-dried chives
1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Blend butter and cream cheese in food processor (or blender). Add all ingredients except chives and parsley, blending well.

Add the parsley and chives, process 5 seconds or just until combined. (If over processed, spread will turn green.)

Place in bowl or crock. Warm, at room temperature, 1 1/2 to 2 hours before serving.
