In a heavy medium saucepan combine sugar and corn syrup over medium-high heat; stir frequently until mixture boils. Allow to boil for 30 min without stirring. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter.
Place cereal in a large bowl. Pour peanut butter mixture over cereal; stir till well blended.
With well-greased hands, press mixture into a well-greased 4 1/2 inch-wide by 1-inch deep star-shaped mold. Immediately remove from mold; transfer to a lightly greased sheet of aluminum foil to cool. Repeat with remaining cereal, working quickly before mixture cools.
