1/2 head cabbage, chopped
1 lb ground beef, browned
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup uncooked rice
1/2 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
1 can tomato soup
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 qt tomato juice
1 Tbsp vinegar

Layer 1/2 of the chopped cabbage in a large casserole dish. Mix together ground beef, onion, rice, milk, and egg. Layer meat mixture on top of cabbage. Layer remainder of cabbage on meat.

Mix together tomato soup, brown sugar, tomato juice, and vinegar. Pour over all.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
