2 clove garlic
1 can (12 oz.) chick peas/garbanzo beans (reserve can liquid)
3 Tbsp tahini (sesame seed paste)
1/2 tsp salt
Juice of 2 lemons
Sprig of parsley and/or dash of cayenne pepper
Pita bread cut in wedges or cracked pepper crackers

Chop garlic in food process. Add remaining ingredients except parsley & cayenne. Process.

Season to taste. Thin with can water to desired consistency.

Garnish with olive oil and parsley or cayenne pepper. Serve with pita triangles or crackers.
