Pineapple Pretzel Salad

Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 heaping cup crushed pretzels
1 stick margarine, melted
1/2 cup + 3 Tablespoons sugar, divided
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
1 tub (8 oz.) Cool Whip

Mix pretzels, margarine & 3 Tablespoons of sugar in 9x13 glass casserole dish. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.

Mix when it comes out of oven and then spread out in casserole dish and cool for 10 minutes.

Whip cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar together. Stir in drained pineapple to cream cheese mixture. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust. Cover and store in refrigerator overnight.
