Brown your ground beef with your chopped onion and drain. Then add your sauce, can of tomatoes, and taco seasoning. Simmer on med/low while you boil your noodles (be sure to leave them al dente) and drain.
Mix your cottage cheese, sour cream and 1/2 the package of shredded cheese into the ground beef and sauce mixture. Stir in the noodles.
Pour into 9x13 pan and top with remaining cheese. Bake about 20 minutes at 375°F till cheese is melted and serve.
