Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 pkg Pillsbury 2 crust pie crust
6 large pie apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
1 cup Dominos white sugar
2 Tbsp cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
4 pats land o 'lakes butter
2 Tbsp melted butter

Preheat oven to 350°F. Place bottom crust in pie pan. Slice apples directly into pan. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Place pats of butter on top of apples.

Cover with top crust (cutting a few small slits - go as fancy as you want) and seal edges. Brush top crust with melted butter and lightly sprinkle with a cinnamon/sugar mixture.

Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes until apple tender and crust is brown.
