Pumpkin Pie Cake

Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 can evaporated milk
3 eggs, beaten
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1 can (29 oz.) pumpkin
1 pkg yellow cake mix
3/4 cup butter (1 and 1/2 sticks)
1 cup nuts, chopped or whole (optional)

Mix together evaporated milk, eggs, cinnamon, salt, sugar and pumpkin.

Pour into 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle cake mix (dry) over top of mixture. Slice butter thinly and place slices on top of dry cake mixture. Optional, place nuts on top of butter.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 to 55 minutes. Cool and slice.
