Original recipe yields 1 serving
3 lb country cut spareribs
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 Tbsp brown sugar
3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp vinegar
1 Tbsp prepared mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Preheat slow cooker. Brown spareribs for about 10 minutes. Place browned spareribs in cooker.

In mixing bowl, combine onions, celery, ketchup, water, lemon juice, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper. Mix and pour over spareribs.

Cover and simmer on setting High for 4 hours or Low for 7 to 9 hours.
