Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 lb ground turkey
2 med onions, diced
2 green peppers, diced
2 cups sliced mush
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 can (15 oz.) beans of choice, drained and rinsed
1 cup can or frozen corn, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup med. sized bulger wheat
1 can (28 oz.) diced tomatoes
1 cup chicken broth
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp sugar
2-3 jalapeno or Serrano peppers chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

In a large skillet over med. high heat, warm oil, add meat and brown.

In a slow cooker, combine meat with all other ingredients, and stir well.

Cook on low heat for 7 hours. Serve with warm, toasted baguette slices.
