Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 medium head cabbage
1 lb ground venison
1 lb ground pork sausage
1 lb ground beef
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 onion, diced
cloves 1 or 2 garlic, diced
1 1/2 cups instant rice
2 Tbsp salt
2 large cans or bags sauerkraut
2 Tbsp caraway seeds, divided

Put whole head of cabbage in water and cook until cabbage is soft enough to peel off full leaves. Take out of water and set aside while preparing meat. Mix venison, pork, beef, egg, milk, onion, garlic, rice & salt together. Make sure it is mixed real well.

Spread 1 bag of sauerkraut with 1 Tbsp. caraway seed in bottom of electric roaster--Make oblong meatballs about 3/4 size of a snowball and roll in one cabbage leaf and layer on the sauerkraut until all meat is used up. Then spread the last bag of sauerkraut with 1 Tbsp. caraway seed over the Roly Polys. Cover all ingredients with water.

Cook at 350 degrees F for at least 6 1/2 hours and make sure they always have enough water on them.
