Original recipe yields 1 serving
cup 1/2 to 1 chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1-2 cups mushrooms
1 small can black olives
2 cans (14.5 ounces each) tomatoes, cut up
1 can (8 ounces) can tomato sauce
1 can (12 ounces) tomato paste
2 teaspoon s dried parsley flakes
2 teaspoon s brown sugar
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 teaspoon crushed red peppers (or to taste - I like mine a little spicy)
1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Hot spaghetti

In slow cooker/crock-pot, combine onions, and garlic with remaining ingredients (except spaghetti).

Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
