1/2 small white onion, diced
1 pkg frozen peas
1-2 Tbsp water
1 can cream of chicken soup
12 oz cooked chicken breast, shredded or one large can chicken
1/2 cup milk
1 cup crispy chow mein noodles
1/3 cup cashew halves

In a small saucepan, cook the onion and peas in water until onion is tender, around 6 minutes.

In a casserole dish, combine all ingredients except noodles and cashews. After mixing well, fold in cashews and noodles until evenly distributed.

Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until heated through.
