Beat the egg yolks with the salt. Then beat in sugar, whiskey, orange rind and juice. Bring milk to a boil and melt butter. Pour slowly into 1st mixture and beat again. Put about 6 cups of your flour in a bowl. Pour the batter into the flour and then add your yeast. Let stand for 1 hour.
Knead the dough with the rest of the flour for about 15 minutes. Let rise again for 3 hours. Make little balls and rise again for 1 hour.
Insert 1 prune into each ball and deep fry. Remove when done. While still warm, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
