Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 lb hamburger
1 bag Doritos
1 med purple onion
1 can refried beans
1 can mild green chili sauce, divided
2 lb Kraft Shredded Cheddar/Mozzarella Mix Cheese, divided
2 or 3 onion stalks
1 small tub sour cream
1 med tomato
1 can sliced olives (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Thoroughly cook hamburger and drain. While hamburger is cooking, remove 2 cups of Doritos and set aside. Crush remainder of Doritos in the bag.

Pour Doritos into a 9x13x2 inch casserole or cake pan. Add chopped or sliced and ringed purple onions to hamburger and simmer. Once tender, add can of refried beans and 1/2 can of mild green chili sauce, then heat to hot, but not popping. Set 2 cups of cheese aside and put the rest in the meat and bean mixture. Place mixture on top of Doritos in casserole dish. Bake for 10 minutes.

While that bakes, dice tomato and slice onion stocks into little ringlets. Add rest of Doritos and 1 cup of cheese on top. Bake 10 more minutes. Top with 1/2 can of mild green chili sauce, sour cream, diced tomato, 1 cup of shredded cheese, sliced olives, and sliced onion stalks, preferably in that order. Serve hot!
