1/2 lb bacon
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 bunch green onions, cleaned and chopped
1 bag shredded cabbage or slaw mix
1 cup sweet Vidalia onion salad dressing

In skillet, brown bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and drain on paper towel leaving bacon grease in skillet.

On low heat with wooden spoon scrape dripping from bottom of pan stir in sugar, salt, and pepper. Slowly pour in vinegar stir until well blended.

In large bowl, mix onions and cabbage mix. Toss in onion dressing. Pour hot vinegar mix over salad. Add bacon pieces, toss well. Serve immediately.
