Mix strawberries with sugar and 3 Tbsp. of almond extract or Amaretto; set aside. In a separate bowl, mix with a hand mixer cream cheese, sour cream, confectioners' sugar, vanilla and remaining almond extract or Amaretto; fold in the whipped topping.
Layer: 1/2 angel food cake, 1/2 strawberries and 1/2 the cream cheese mixture into a large trifle bowl. Repeat. Garnish with whipped topping and additional strawberries.
Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving!
