What You Need

Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 cup carrots
1 cup broccoli
1 box non-fat or low fat cream cheese, softened
1 lid full Mrs. Dash garlic & herb seasoning
1 tsp crushed red pepper for spice (optional)
1 Tbsp mayo (non-fat or regular)
1 loaf Italian bread or crackers of some sort

Put carrots and broccoli in a food processer, blend until pieces are basically minced. Do Not make it into a soupy mixture. Don't want that.

Take the softened cream cheese and put it into a medium bowl. Add veggie mixture, lid full of seasoning (and if you want the crushed red pepper, add that) and mayonnaise. Here comes the FUN part...Mix the spread with your hands...so it's evenly spread with the vegetables.

Serve with sliced Italian bread (or crackers) I recommend Italian bread...and if desired, toast bread in oven at 350°F until tanned. Enjoy!! –Emily Lensgraf
