Boil chicken breasts until done on stovetop. When done, remove chicken from broth (reserving broth for another use) and chop chicken into small chunks. Set aside. Chop onion until fine. Add to the chicken. Stir in the cream cheese until chicken is well coated. Add parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to taste.
Unwrap crescent rolls. Pinch 2 rolls together at seams to make rectangle. Drop spoonfuls of chicken mixture onto rolls. Fold corners together making a bun shape bundle. Turn over placing sealed side down. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
