1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup crisco
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 pkg Baker's Chocolate Chunks
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine flour, salt and baking soda in bowl and set aside. Combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, margarine, crisco and vanilla and beat until creamy. Add eggs and beat. Gradually stir in dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chunks and chopped nuts.

Drop mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls unto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake 8 to 9 minutes.
