5 cups shredded cabbage
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons water
Salt
Pepper
1 can evaporated milk
1/3 cup vinegar or more to taste
3 tablespoons sugar - more or less
1 egg

Cook cabbage on low with butter, water, salt and pepper in covered saucepan until limp.

Mix milk, vinegar and sugar in a bowl. Whisk in egg until mixed.

Pour milk mixture over cabbage in saucepan and cook on low, stirring until slightly thickened and egg is cooked.
