Cube chicken and slowly cook in frying pan. Mix the soup and sour cream, then add the cooked chicken.
Crush the crackers, then stir in the poppy seeds and butter. Place half the cracker mixture in a 9 x 13 baking pan or dish, top with chicken/soup mixture, then top with remaining cracker mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes.
