Original recipe yields 1 serving
3/4 lb piece smoked salmon (can be found in the fresh meat case)
2 pkg (8 oz. each) cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
Juice of one lemon
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp ground pepper
1 bunch green onions (scallions), trimmed and thinly sliced
1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped

Peel skin off salmon and carefully pick out bones. Break apart into small pieces, and set aside.

Beat cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, salt & pepper until smooth. Add salmon, scallions, and dill, then mix by hand to combine.

Refrigerate until ready to serve. This spread is best if made the day before needed. Serve with crackers or lightly toasted bread.
