7 tablespoons cornstarch
1 dash salt
1 1/3 cups sugar
3 cups canned evaporated milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
8 ounces Cool Whip
1 baked pie crust

Mix cornstarch, salt, and sugar in large heavy bottomed kettle. Add canned milk and vanilla, stir with whisk until blended. Add Cool Whip and cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thick and bubbly (over 20 minutes usually).

Pour into pie shell, sprinkle with cinnamon.

Cool and serve.
