On a 13 x 9 pan melt stick of butter (or margarine) then pour sliced peaches juice and all and set aside.
In a large bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder, milk, vanilla and 1 tsp. of cinnamon until all ingredients are well mixed. Pour mixture on top of peaches. Then sprinkle sugar and remaining teaspoon of cinnamon evenly on top of mixture.
Bake at 350°F for 35 - 45 minuets until top is browned and crisp.
