Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoon s baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Powdered sugar

In large saucepan, Heat 2-3 inches of oil to 375°F. In Large bowl mix first 6 ingredients. Then stir in milk, oil, vanilla and egg with a fork just until all dry ingredients are moist.

Drop by teaspoonful into hot oil (375°F) 5-6 at a time frying 1-1 1/2 minutes on each side. Drain on to paper towel.

Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon to roll warm doughnuts in. Cool some doughnuts and then roll in powdered sugar.
