2 pounds green beans
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves minced garlic (optional)
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 pound ground beef
2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
Salt and chili pepper (optional)
1 Tbsp tomato paste or puree

1) Clean, cut and wash green beans.

2) Saute chopped onions and garlic with olive oil in a large pot. Add minced meat and cook with stirring. Stir in tomatoes, salt and chili pepper; 3 min later add tomato paste and simmer 2 minute. Add green beans and 2 1/2 cups hot water.

3) Cover, raise heat to medium, and cook till the green beans are tender (20-30 min).
