Take the garlic, oil, red pepper, and salt, put it in a sauce pan. Saute for about 45 seconds -- don't let the garlic brown.
When you're finished, pour the crushed red tomatoes into the sauce pan. Stir the sauce around for a little bit and then turn the stove on about medium temperature. Keep it heating for about 3 minutes, at this point taste it. Add in any additional salt now if needed.
After you feel that its ready, drop the half lemon into the sauce, take it out with a spoon after about 5-10 seconds of soaking (depening on how much lemon you like).
