Brown roast in a large skillet. Place roast in a crock-pot and fill it 3/4 full with water. Place remaining ingredients in the crock-pot.
Cook on high for 4-6 hours and then cook an additional hour on low.
Take roast out and use a fork to shred the meat and then serve on a hoagie bun. Use remaining juice mixture in crock-pot as the dipping sauce for sandwich.
