5 cups water
1/2 tsp salt
3 green bananas or 1 green plantain
1 cup milk
2 Tbsp flour
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup sugar

Bring salted water to a boil. Meanwhile, puree (use GRATER if no blender) bananas or plantain with milk in blender. Add flour and pulse for 30 seconds.

Stir bananas, vanilla and nutmeg into boiling water. Bring to a simmer for 30 minutes until bananas are cooked.

Sweeten porridge then serve.
