1 cup chopped onion
8-10 large potatoes, cut to 1 - 1 1/2 inch cubes
2 cans (10.5 oz. each) chicken broth
2 cans (10.5 oz. each) cream of mushroom soup
1 or more soup cans of milk
1 cup sour cream
