Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 lb penne pasta
Olive oil
1 med sized red onion, chopped
1 small red sweet pepper, chopped
2 tsp garlic
1 lb chicken breast, cut into chunks
1 bottle BBQ sauce
2 cups Kraft Melts Cheese American Cheddar Blend (optional)
1 jar pasta sauce (I prefer ones with the cheese)
Salt and pepper
Parmesan cheese

Let's Make It

Cook pasta according to directions. Heat olive oil; add onions, pepper, garlic, and chicken. Cook until veggies are tender and chicken is cooked through.

Add BBQ sauce and simmer for 20 minutes. Add the cheese which is optional, or just add the sauce. Simmer again for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Mix the pasta and sauce mixture together. Serve and Enjoy!!
