Original recipe yields 1 serving
Cake:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups sour cream
Topping:
1 cup pecans
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon

1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease the bottom and sides of a glass 13 x 9 inch pan. Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until smooth. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sour cream. Mix well.

2. Layer in a 9 x 13 inch pan, beginning with cake mix. Add a layer of topping, then cake mix and then topping.

3. Bake at 400°F for 25 to 30 minutes.
