Preheat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. Sprinkle lightly with flour. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla till fluffy, add in eggs. Mix dry ingredients together in separate bowl, then blend into butter mixture.
Shape dough into two 12" logs & pat down to 1/2 thickness. Bake 30 minutes remove and cool for 15 minutes.
Slice into 1/2" slices. Return to pan and bake for an additional 7-10 minutes per side. Cool completely before storing air-tight.
