Mexican Cactus Salad

1 jar cactus
1 big white or red onion
2 big tomatoes
1 piece Cotija (Mexican) cheese
2 limes
Salt, pepper and garlic salt

Pour cactus in a strainer bowl, rinse, then let sit few seconds for water to come out. Then chop cactus to small pieces on cutting board and put in medium bowl.

Then chop onion and tomatoes and add them also in bowl with cactus. Then take a piece of cotija cheese and grate it and add to this also.

Then cut limes and squeeze them in for lime juice. Then add salt, pepper and garlic salt. Stir well.
