4 leftover hamburger or hot dog buns, 4 slices of bread or any bread items
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup fresh shredded parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp dried or freshly chopped basil
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Let's Make It
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Marinate chicken in Italian dressing for 1 hour. Slice bread into small cubes.
Mix together oil, parmesan, basil, salt and pepper and add bread. Toss to coat. Spread croutons on a greased cookie sheet and bake in oven for 10 minutes or until browned, turning occasionally. Grill chicken until done and slice into thin strips.
Prepare finished salad by layering Romaine, chicken, croutons, fresh shredded parmesan and dressing.
