1 medium yellow, onion, diced
1 can tomato sauce
1 large bag frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

Cook hamburger and onion together, drain. Add tomato sauce and vegetables, stirring until warmed through. Add half the cheese, stirring until melted.

Pour mixture in casserole dish and top with remaining cheese.
