2 boxes triple chocolate fudge cake mixes
1 box French vanilla cake mix
2 jars (12 oz. each) pitted stemless cherries (or about 20 oz. of fresh pitted cherries)
4 cans (12 oz. each) milk chocolate frosting
1 can (12 oz.) cherry frosting

Mix and bake cakes as instructed on box using 9-inch cake rounds with one exception: add cherries to the Triple Chocolate Fudge cake mixes (without the juices if using jarred cherries). Allow cakes to cool BEFORE applying any frosting.

Take one triple chocolate fudge round and apply an even layer of cherry frosting to the TOP of the cake. Carefully place a French vanilla cake on top of this followed by another layer of cherry frosting on the TOP only. Place another triple chocolate fudge cake on top of this layer and coat the entire cake with milk chocolate frosting.

Repeat for the second cake.
