Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Brown beef with chopped shallot or onion. Cook pasta till al dente. When beef is browned, add spaghetti sauce and stir. Add cooked pasta to sauce mixture. Mix together ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, garlic salt and parsley. Salt & pepper to taste.
In a 13x9 pan layer pasta sauce mixture, ricotta mixture and 1 pkg. of mozzarella cheese starting with the sauce first, then the ricotta mixture and a layer of mozzarella cheese. Finish with spreading the remainder mozzarella cheese on top.
Bake for 20-25 min or until cheese is brown and the bake is bubbling.
